Nice one. Funny thing is I dont think Kerry knows where he stands on any issues....I should stop there becuase like I learned in bartending school, never talk about politics, religion and women. However, I would love to talk about women....=)

And just so you can rest at night knowing something
is happening in Iraq that is noteworthy, I thought I would pass this on to
you. This is the list of things that has happened in Iraq recently: (Please
share it with your friends and compare it to the version that your paper
is producing).
Over 4.5 million people have clean drinking water
for the first time ever in Iraq.
Over 400,000 kids have up to date immunizations.
Over 1500 schools have been renovated and ridded of
the weapons that were stored there so education can occur.
The port of Uhm Qasar was renovated so grain can be
off loaded from ships faster.
School attendance is up 80% from levels before the
war. The country had it's first 2 billion barrel export
of oil in August. The country now receives 2 times the electrical
power it did before the war 100% of the hospitals are open and fully staffed
compared to 35% before the war.
Elections are taking place in every major city and
city councils are in place. Sewer and water lines are installed in every major
city. Over 60,000 police are patrolling the streets.
Over 100,000 Iraqi civil defense police are securing
the country.
Over 80,000 Iraqi soldiers are patrolling the
streets side by side with US soldiers.
Over 400,000 people have telephones for the first
time ever.
Students are taught field sanitation and hand
washing techniques to prevent the spread of germs.
An interim constitution has been signed.
Girls are allowed to attend school for the first
time ever in Iraq.
Text books that don't mention Saddam are in the
schools for the first time in 30 years.
Don't believe for one second that these people do
not want us there. I have met many, many people from Iraq that want us
there and in a bad way.
They say they will never see the freedoms we talk
about but they hope their children will. We are doing a good job in Iraq and I
challenge anyone, anywhere to dispute me on these facts.
So If you
happen to run into John Kerry, be sure to give him my email address and send
him to Denison, Iowa.
This soldier will set him straight. If you are like
me and very disgusted with how this period of rebuilding has been
portrayed, email this to a friend and let them know there are good things
happening.

Yeah, politocs and religion are definitely touchy areas. But I like the idea of talking about women!
A kid asks his dad, "What do you call that useless bit on top of the vagina?"
"That's called the woman, son."
Sorry if that offended anyone, but if u want, u can reverse the joke and make it about the useless bit on top of the penis. You know, just to be fair and all...
Hey Sick of It All. I support the troops and all but, why do people in the military blindly follow whos ever in charge? Why don't you ask yourself about the price it took to get those freedoms you speak of. Did you know during the first days of bombing in Iraq when Dickhead Bush ordered an airstrike of Baghdad almost 10,000 civilians were killed. Wow, the US sure helped them out. Doesn't it also seem odd that the first thing secured in Iraq were the oil fields so that CHeney's company Haliburton could use it. What about the weapons of mass destruction? that was the whole reason for the war. You can't invade and occupy countries because of the poor living conditions. If that was the case how come we don't go to Morocco or North Korea? Because they don't have oil. There is the truth about Iraq. SO PLEASE VOTE KERRY EVERYONE. Don't listen to this narrow minded republican. Also, over 700 troops have died since Bush said the war was over. Yeah, Mr. Reynolds the Iraq war sure was a great success. I am a 17 year old and I know a lot more about the situation than an adult in the National Guard. That's scary.
How about getting an Iraqi to post their view of the reconstruction. I'm sure it would be much different than this piece right here.
<font size="2" face="verdana, arial">Do you have any links to prove any of these proclaimed facts. Since when have elections taken place? There is currently nobody in charge of Iraq. Why don't textbooks talk about Saddam, he was an important historical figure? Or should he get the black marker? Is this interim constitution helping at all? What about all the Iraqis that were killed during Shock and Awe? What about the fact that our purpose for going to Iraq was to elimate an immediate threat from Weapons of Mass Destruction? What about the fact that Iraq has not committed a terrorist act since 1993?Originally posted by sickofitall:

And most importantly, what about the fact that the war in Iraq has infuriated the Arab world causing al Qaeda support to rise, while US support continues to fall? Do you or this soldier remember Iran showing support for the US after 911? Instead of providing the Middle East with a picture of a tolerant United States willing to work together with the Arabs, Bush decided to bomb the fuck out of a country that did not harbor terrorism and did not aid in 911.
I do have to agree, though, constant attacks and bombings do definitely show how much they really do appreciate us!
Sorry, not buying it. I have heard to many lies from your side in the past 2 years to trust anything that you, Bush, or a random soldier have to say. But please, continue to attempt to persuade others that may take the bait.
That letter is bullshit. Typical Internet propoganda. Look at the polls on CNN and MSNBC, the Iraqi's don't think they're better off right not. They think they possibly will be in the future, but as of now the country is a mess. Bush is a piece of shit.
Jesus(Bush is stupid son of a bitch)

There's plenty of net propaganda on both sides.
As for why people in the military blindly follow orders, they hardly "blindly" follow them. It is their job to follow orders. That's what they do. It isnt their place to question orders from superior officers or the comm in chief. Unless those orders are severely out of line.
When your boss at works tells you to do something you do it right?
Over 4.5 million people have clean drinking water
for the first time ever in Iraq.
->(=A lie, they have enough problems with water until today because of the last wars.)
Over 400,000 kids have up to date immunizations.
->(Oh yea? Who said Hussein could use medicines for chemical weapons?? Embargo!!)
Over 1500 schools have been renovated and ridded of
the weapons that were stored there so education can occur.
->(Ha, who really thinks that Hussein stored weapons at schools before the attack?)
The port of Uhm Qasar was renovated so grain can be
off loaded from ships faster.
->(Useful for someone who wants to carry oil out of iraq. Ok, maybe useful for Helping goods but also for the Army)
School attendance is up 80% from levels before the
war.
-> (not true, iraq had a good working school system before the war, they also learned english under Hussein)
The country had it's first 2 billion barrel export
of oil in August.
->(Ohh really? Iraq had sold oil all the time but they were not allowed to do it)
The country now receives 2 times the electrical
power it did before the war 100% of the hospitals are open and fully staffed
compared to 35% before the war.
(Hospitals had the embargo problem before war, electricial power is down until today in some parts, it's normal that they got power for 2 hours a day)

Students are taught field sanitation and hand
washing techniques to prevent the spread of germs.
->(Ohh really? They had germs? Who cares the whole african continent is full of germs. Hand washing techniques?! The didn't lived in stone age the last years.)
An interim constitution has been signed.
Girls are allowed to attend school for the first
time ever in Iraq.
->(A simply lie, the iraq was not strong islamic, women were all the time allowed to attend the schools)
Text books that don't mention Saddam are in the
schools for the first time in 30 years.
->(they had text books that is important, if there is mentioned sadam or bush is not really important for them)
Don't believe for one second that these people do
not want us there. I have met many, many people from Iraq that want us
there and in a bad way.

the point was that none of us should listen to the media hype that surrounds any of this. We are not the ones over there so we don't know WHAT the hell goes on. People are going way too over the top on this...everyone has their own f*cked up opinions and rarely are they even based on facts. Everybody seems to take their cue from somebody else that doesn't know anything. I agree with the one who said we shouldn't talk politics...I am just tired of people and their anti-war bullshit who criticize the ones who are actually out there risking their lives, while others sit back and bitch about how unfair it is. I think they would be singing a different tune if all of a sudden their freedom was taken away...what would they have to take advatage of then? Anyway, I'll stop there - I just don't agree with the picket signs and the anti-war rallies, that's all. Ungrateful little bastards in my opinion.
